I love photography, but I am also an activist and a political junkie. What could be better than employing the skills I have to document the nation's unrest and, what I hope will be, a great political awakening in America. We must create the country we want for our families, friends and humanity in general. We can only do that by being engaged.

My partner, Susan, my niece, Maria, and I drove down to Philly to protest at the Democratic National Convention. What we were protesting was the corruption in the system that took this election away from the American people.
